"I only have one interest: I don't care if you live or die: I just wanna see you dance !“

This is the motto that made Thomas Rainer create his new musical project NACHTMAHR in 2007. After the Austrian artist has achieved worldwide success with L'AME IMMORTELLE and SIECHTUM in the past 11 years, he returns to his roots: the boiling dancefloors of industrial and goth clubs alike

Inspired by numerous years of DJing, NACHTMAHR is the missing link between merciless and provocative Industrial and the hammering power of Techno.

The new EP "Mädchen in Uniform" dedicates a long overdue monument to the uniformed ladies of this world and will pave the way to the band's ultimate goal: TOTAL CLUB DOMINATION

(1st US tour + DC appearance!)

UK sturm and drang stompers UBERBYTE rose from the ashes of the controversial industrial rock outfit Killing Miranda in late 2006. Newly rechristened with the enigmatic moniker "Uberman", KM's former vocalist quickly took Uberbyte to the stage, providing support to such heavy hitters as COMBICHRIST, Grendel, Hocico, The Cruxshadows, Panzer AG, KiEw, Die Krupps, XP8, Straftanz and Faderhead, becoming an almost overnight sensation in the flourishing, revitalized UK industrial scene.

Uberbyte are at their core, a mixture of the old and new school of industrial, pumping out enough pile driving, slam dunking power for any dancefloor while at the same time being capable of throwing out lean, distinctive, melodic material with a dark, twisted sense of humor.

(1st US show since 2006)

Emerging from the deep depths of the underground scene, Mindless Faith combines EBM and industrial to create a sound unlike any other. While many bands try to stick to a specific formula, creating music under the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality, Mindless Faith injects diversity and creativity into the music making process. Their perfect balance of intricate electronic arrangements, grinding textures, and explosive beats prompted Side-Line Magazine to describe their sound as "worked out with intelligence, creativity, and knowledge."

The band has toured with acts including Spahn Ranch, Pigface, Switchblade Symphony, Flesh Field, Genitorturers, Godhead, Hanzel und Gretyl, Acumen Nation, Bile and many others. This has enabled Mindless Faith to showcase their talent to thousands along the East Coast and has essentially managed to garner a large following of fans addicted to the crunching guitars, infectious keyboards and extraordinary vocals incorporated into the band's unique sound.

Having been in existence since 1999, LIFE CRIED now aggressively emerges as the spearhead of the US Electro scene. Music-wise LIFE CRIED combine dark melodies and high club appeal, while injecting a soul, atmosphere and style into their music by creating compositions with depth and charisma. The debut album is convincing from the first to last track by using well chosen samples and clear, easy recognizable melodies as well as driving beats. Life Cried took time to create this debut, which helped to perfect their sound and by this to compensate what numerous recently released Electro albums are lacking.

Currently, Life Cried are touring for their sophomore effort, 2009's long-awaited and critically-successful "Banished Psalms". With a live line-up sporting live drum pads, bass, and keyboardists, this incarnation of Life Cried is one not to be missed - especially considering this will be their second appearance ever in its current and electrifying live formation!

With the concussive force of a runaway supercollider, Panic Lift exploded onto the industrial music scene in 2006, and they instantly careened to the forefront of the NYC industrial music scene. Equally destructive on the dancefloor as it is with more reflective listening, this album is a testament to the ideology that industrial music can be both agressive and epic, as well as carefully crafted. The songwriting transcends the repetitive, predictable cliches of current cookie-cutter releases in the hard electronic scene and proves that the future of industrial music is here, and it’s going to kick you right in the fucking face.

Angels on Acid was founded by Michael Banks in early 2003 with a heavy influence in everything from EBM, Industrial, Metal, Synthpop, Psychedelic, and old school Goa. It was this diversity that helped to create their unique style of dark electronica.

Angels On Acid's music has been featured on various compilations including Alfa Matrix's Endzeit Bunkertracks III and IV, and in films like the sci-fi film Defcon 2012 along with artist like Die Krupps, State of the Union, and FGFC820. They have also performed with influential bands like Combichrist, Imperative Reaction, Assemblage 23, De/Vision, Dismantled, JulienK, Modulate, FGFC820, Genitorturers, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and Slick Idiot.

Angels On Acid's next unreleased album Blood, Sweat, And Tears is now ready for release in 2010. The new album shows the maturity of their signature sound, painting an introspective and grim picture of humanity's future.

INFO about the venue:

.: The Loft has limited credit card abilities (there is one charge machine that they have to move between bars). So, if you can pay for your drinks in cash, that would be best. There are no ATMs inside the Loft. However, there is a PNC Bank (which also accommodates the event in terms of parking), which is less than a block away right next to the Loft. All food sales will be cash only.

In addition to the FREE parking (~60 spots) directly surrounding The Loft Warehouse, there is also FREE parking directly across the street at The PNC Bank (which is closed down) that holds a few hundred vehicles. There is a security guard posted outside of the Motel 6 next door that keeps an eye on The Loft Warehouse parking. We will of course have additional event security in the area. Please keep noise to a minimum when entering and leaving the party.

The closest Metro stop is the New York Avenue stop on the Red Line. You can take a taxi from there to The Loft Warehouse if you wish.

There are several nearby hotels on the New York Ave. stretch; however, the closest option is the HOTEL 6, which is approximately one block from the venue!
